PRIVACY POLICY

At ecomall, we are very particular about maintaining the privacy of all details of every customer and our vendor partners.

  1. Any information collected by ecomall will be used strictly for purpose intended to fulfil the activities of ecomall in serving its customers and vendor partners
  2. Information will be gathered directly or indirectly from customers and vendor partners.
  3. Directly gathered information will be from registration, address for shipping, personal identification through documents issued by the government like Passport, Pan Card, Aaadhar card etc, locational details, and other details to provide the services offered by ecomall.
  4. Details like date of birth, gender, place of birth etc., may also be collected.
  5. At times IP address and other network related information may also be collected from computer or mobile or any such devices for transactional ease and for security purposes.
  6. Indirectly gathered information may be from third parties and other APIs.
  7. While providing the services, Tax details, bank details etc., may also be collected as per government regulations.
  8. Credit Card, Debit Card or any payment instrument details may be stored by ecomall to facilitate subsequent and future purchases.
  9. Payment details will be shared with firms offering payment gateway, that too only to the extent they need for processing the payment.
  10. All the information gathered and they way it is used, is strictly to prevent fraud and ensure security of all transactions that occur on ecomall or related or associated companies.
  11. The information gathered may also be used by ecomall to provide messages about sale events, product or any policy updates, marketing purposes etc.
  12. We may share any information gathered with any official within our company for any purpose related to business.
  13. The information gathered may have to be shared with statutory and other service providing firms or individuals like Chartered Accountants, Tax Consultants, Government and Quasi Government agencies etc.
  14. Information gathered will not sold in totality or in part to any advertising or marketing agencies or other businesses or non-profit organizations.
  15. ecomall may choose to form public forums within the community of ecomall. The member/customer information may be used to invite to these forums. The customers/vendors may choose not to participate.
  16. ecomall will not disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your consent, except as specified in this policy.
  17. All customers and vendor reserve the right to opt out and not permit using their information for use in forums.
  18. ecomall may choose to use both session cookies and persistent cookies. The purpose of using the cookies is to provide higher speeds, shorter loading times, customization, and overall good UX.
  19. During the transactions, ecomall will have to share customer’s details to vendors and the logistics companies. This should not be construed as divulging personal information or breach of privacy.
  20. Vendors are not permitted to send messages to customers directly and solicit business or engage in marketing directly to the ecomall customers.
  21. Vendors can use the customer received information only for activities that originate or involve ecomall.
  22. Data collected may be transferred internationally across our partner firms or associates in the other parts of the world, again strictly for business purposes which are in the scope of ecomall.
  23. ecomall does not authorize or endorse vendors to use customer information for any purposes other than furthering ecomall business in the standard scope of business.
  24. That said, ecomall cannot be held responsible for any breach of privacy by either vendors or customers or any third-party associates.
  25. Google Analytics will also be used. Some of customer and vendor partner information may be used to provided targeted advertisement.
