Bitter Almond Oil or Prunus Amygdalus Amara is extracted by cold pressing the kernels of the bitter almond, native to India. Colourless to pale yellow in colour, bitter almond oil has an intense, sweet, nutty and cherry-like aroma. The sedative, anesthetic, aperient and anti-intoxicating properties of bitter almond oil are by dint of oleic acid, an active bio compound found in the bitter almond. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Bitter Almond Oil’ can be used to comb with the essential oil of your choice to carry it safely onto your skin.
