Camphor Oil or Cinnamomum Camphora is extracted by steam distillation of the wood of the camphor trees, native to India. Transparent to whitish in color, camphor oil has a sharp, woody and eucalyptus-like aroma. The antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties of camphor oil are by dint of camphor, an active bio compound found in the black pepper. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Camphor Oil’ can be breathed in or used topically.
