Chalmogra Oil or Taraktogenos Kurzii is extracted by cold pressing the dried seeds of Chalmogra herb, native to India. Pale yellow to brown in colour, Chalmogra oil has a strong woody fragrance. The antibiotic, antiviral, anti-fungal and anti-coagulative properties of Chalmogra oil are by dint of hydnocarpic acid, an active bio compound found in the herb. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Chalmogra Oil’ can be used to comb with the essential oil of your choice to carry it safely onto your skin.
