Description
Moringa has three to five times the betacarotene of carrots and because it’s a natural food source, Betacarotene in Moringa is absorbed far more effectively than betacarotene from supplements. Zeaxanthin shields the retina of the eye from light-induced damage. Together with lutein it protects the macula of the eye, an area essential for visual acuity. Lutein “appears to reduce harmful free radicals, and it also filters the high energy, blue wavelengths of visible light. Moringa leaves contain extraordinary amounts of lutein. Moringa oil also contains three varieties of Vitamin E. That is α-tocopherol, ϒ-tocopherol, and δ-tocopherol. Vitamin E to copherols are strong antioxidants. In Cold pressed Chemmala Moringa oil contains small amounts of many phytosterol and cholesterol as well. β – Sitosterol, Campesterol, Stigmasterol are found in high amounts.
