Where To Plant: Plant them in full sun. Plants grown in part sun will flower, but may more prone to blowing over in the wind due to weaker stems.

When To Plant: Direct sow cosmos seeds in spring around the last frost date for your area. . Even if the soil isn’t warm enough for seed germination, cosmos seed will wait for the ideal conditions to grow. Don’t pamper the seedbed

How To Plant: Grow annuals from seed only. Sow outdoors 1/8 inch deep after last frost or indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost. Seeds will germinate in 3-10 days.Cosmos plants are not heavy feeders. Too much fertilizer will cause plants to produce excessive leaf growth at the expense of flower production.
