Every night when you go to bed, how many of you tell stories to your kids to make them sleep? how many of you tell the same story again and again and still make it interesting each time? so if i say that storytelling is an art, how many of you would agree with me? exactly, storytelling is an art and that is what cinemas do. they bring few talented people together, write a story, build characters and entertain us. but this was not the case 300 years ago when a dance form called Kathakali originated in Kerala as part of storytelling. there were no different people to play different characters, there were no different stories to entertain audiences.it is one man show.

Description
Famous around the world now Kathakali has won many admiration to Kerala. It combines devotion, dance, drama, music, costumes and makeup into a divine experience for all who get to view it. It retells the great stories of the past, mostly from Indian epics, and leaves one spellbound at the various intricacies involved in the performance.
