Rosehip Oil or Rosa Rubiginosa is extracted by cold pressing the seeds of rosehip (fruit of the rosebush), native to India. Golden red to red-orange in color, rosehip oil has an earthy and woody aroma. The antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of the oil are by dint of linoleic acid and linolenic acid, the major active bio compounds found in the rosehip fruit. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Rosehip Oil’ can be used to comb with the essential oil of your choice to carry it safely onto your skin.
