Tea Tree Oil or Melaleuca Alternifolia is extracted by steam distillation of the leaves of the tea tree, native to India. Colorless to pale yellow in color, tea tree oil has a strong, lasting, fresh, woody, earthy and herbaceous fragrance. The antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties of tea tree oil are by dint of T-4-ol, an active bio compound found in its leaves. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Tea Tree Oil’ can be breathed in or used topically.
