Turmeric Oil

Turmeric Oil or Curcuma Longa is extracted by steam distillation of the roots of turmeric plant, native to India. Pale yellow to orange yellow in color, turmeric oil has a fresh, spicy and woody fragrance with a tinge of ginger and sweet orange. The antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti tumor and hepato protective properties of turmeric oil are by dint of turmerone, an active bio compound found in the plant. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Turmeric Oil’ can be breathed in or used topically.
