Wheatgerm Oil or Triticum Aestivum is extracted by cold pressing the germ (embryo of the seed) of wheat plant, native to India. Golden yellow to amber yellow in colour, wheatgerm oil has a faint nutty aroma. The antioxidant, regenerative, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of wheatgerm oil are by dint of linoleic acid, an active bio compound found in the wheat kernels. Wholly organic, the ‘Saharogya Wheatgerm Oil’ can be used to comb with the essential oil of your choice to carry it safely onto your skin.
